One afternoon, I was in my science classroom when I got this idea. I saw a water bottle that was cut open and there was a zipper on it and it could be closed up with stuff inside. The student whose project is was had pencils and markers in it at the moment. I thought it was a great idea. The student was recycling and it looked really creative. But it also looked weird to me at the same time. So then I thought about how I could change the design to make it look like something that I liked.
For the next week or so, I totally forgot about the project I wanted to do. I got super busy in my school and didn’t remember. Then, another student had a very similar project to the other student. Instead of a water bottle, she used a food can. She had cleaned it and decked it with duct tape. I thought that looked awesome! So, I decided that would be what I would do.
I got a food can, cleaned it, and then I started to decorate it with the special duct tape that I had. I used two kinds of duct tape, a fancy one with flowers and pretty patterns, and one that was a plain pink. The way I decorated mine was like this: starting from the bottom, pink, fancy, pink, fancy, pink. I thought it looked really pretty.
I took it to school and now I can put my pencils, pens, and markers in a place that is convenient for me. I love my little creation, even though it wasn’t completely my idea.
