On Saturday, October 8, 2016, I had a very exciting day! In the morning, my brother had a band field trip. His band was participating in a competition. The competition was really long. He took a bus to a school in Cupertino. So, my parents and I were thinking of things we could do that he may be at least okay with us doing without him. I thought we could go to Safeway and get bagels for breakfast. My parents liked the idea, so all of us got ready to go on a walk to Safeway. Safeway is less than half a mile away from our house, a walk able distance. Then my dad thought of going to Starbucks Coffee, which is in the same complex as Safeway. We decided that we would get bagels, and then go to Starbucks for coffee. I don’t like coffee, so I usually just get a brownie. My mom likes their lemon cake.
When we were getting ready, my mom said to get Sparky’s, (our dog’s), leash and get him ready. Daddy and I finally got ready, and got Sparky ready too. We started our walk, and we all talked while walking. Sparky loves walks, so he was having the highlight of his day right there. When we got to Safeway, my dad stayed outside with Sparky, and my mom and I went in to get the bagels. After we payed for the bagels, we headed over to Starbucks.
Daddy found a table for us outside, and sat down. Mommy and I went and got two lattes, a piece of lemon cake, and my brownie. We drank and ate most of what we got, but then packed the rest for home or on the way back home.
Once home, we were all exhausted. But we were also really happy that we went out together. We had tons and tons of fun!
