I’m off to work, with my Dad. Today I get to got to work with my Dad. Every year there is an annual “Bring Your Kids to Work Day”. But this year they didn’t have one. I was really disappointed, but my Dad took me any way. On the real “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” I don’t have to bring anything, But since I’m going for fun, I need to take activities for myself to keep myself busy. So I packed: My laptop, my art book, markers, sharpies, and dry erase markers. My Dad’s office has a dry erase board and that’s why I took dry erase markers.
We got to go in my Dad’s BMW convertible. When we got there Dad had to work so I got to play around. The first activity that I did was write and draw on the dry erase board. I did this for about an hour. After that I did my practice typing on my laptop. Soon I was playing some of my games. My Dad said that in a while we’ll go get lunch. When Daddy was done with his work, he took me to Sweet Tomatoes. Sweet Tomatoes is one of my very favorite restaurants. I made my wonderful salad that I always make. I finished the whole thing which I don’t do all the time. I was proud of myself. After the salad bar, I had macaroni, and after macaroni I had dessert. I got to have chocolate ice cream and a brownie muffin. one the way back to the office we opened the car and went convertible, It was really fun.
Once we got back to the office, my Dad remembered that on Thursdays they have popcorn in the cafeteria. So we got to get popcorn while we were working. I gobbled up my popcorn and I started to draw and color. I had so much fun.
We drove back home, both of us tired and exhausted. I was really happy to get to go to Dad’s work place.
