One fine, fine day, I was walking around my house thinking what I should do. I was starting to get really bored. Then I found one of my coloring books from a few years ago. The pictures in it are really detailed, and it can take a long time to color one whole page. But, I sat down and colored one whole entire picture. It took about 1 and a half hours. But I did finally finish it.
I made it really detailed. The picture I was coloring was a girl, who was wearing a beautiful dress, and then there were flowers and butterflies around her. I colored the flowers and butterflies first. They were pretty hard because they were so small. It took like 30 minutes just to do the flowers and butterflies. My hand started to get tired so I took a break and ate a cookie. The I got back to my room and started on the girl’s dress.
The dress had the most chaos going on. It was super detailed. I carefully colored every little thing on the dress. After I did all the designs, I did the “background” color for the dress. She didn’t have a lot of jewelry, but the jewelry she did have was very easy to color. Soon enough I was already coloring her skin. I only had to color her face, her neck, and her arms. Then, the hardest part of all, her hair. You’d think that her hair would be easy, but it really wasn’t. I had to know what was her hair and where there were gaps. It was hard. Doing the girl’s dress, body, jewelry, and hair took 1 whole hour! I was exhausted!
When I was finished, my thumb was red. And it was paining so bad. But I loved how my picture turned out.
