Movie Night

Since it’s Spring Break, I get to stay up late and get up in the morning super late as well. It’s been fun to sleep in, and on Tuesday morning I was out till 9. That’s because on Monday night I had a movie night with my friends at my house! We had so much fun! We watched the movie, we danced, we ate food, and talked a lot.

Before we watched the movie, we were playing Just Dance Disney Party 2. It was fun, but the songs didn’t feel the same because the actors weren’t the same. I didn’t enjoy that game as much as I enjoyed going on YouTube and listening to the real songs. But, once again, still fun.

Then, once everyone was there, we started our movie. We watched the movie Coco from Disney. We really liked the movie, it was a little sad at the end, but we still loved watching it. If you haven’t watched it, you most definitely should. As we were watching Coco, we got to eat popcorn for that theater-like feel. After we watched most of the movie, we ate an Oreo cake that I had made for my friends! We ate and talked for at least half an hour. We ate our cake slices very slowly because we were laughing so hard and talking so much. After we somehow ate our cake slices, we watched the rest of the movie. One of my friends had watched the movie before, and when the people who haven’t watched the movie made a guess of what’s going to happen, she kept telling if it was true or not. So we asked her to be quiet. And thankfully, for the rest of the movie, she didn’t say anything else.

After we watched the movie, our friend who got on the cheer team showed us her dance that they had to learn. We are all very proud of her for getting on the team. She showed us the dance routine a few times, and then I asked her if she could teach it to us. Of course, she said yes, and she started taking us through each step. She taught us most of the dance, and then we all agreed that we rather watch her do the dance than try to do it ourselves. And then she also showed us the cheer chant they had to do. After that, my friend and I showed her the dance that we had prepared for her. And not trying to brag or anything, but she loved it a lot.

Once we were cheered out, we turned on some music and started dancing randomly. We each took turns doing mini solo dances for everyone. We were dancing and singing until it was time for parents to start coming. And as parents started coming, the party died down. But we had so much fun, and we super tired. We were ready to rest up. One of the most exciting nights I’ve had!
